The successful candidate will be an experienced developer ideally with a digital agency background and will need to possess excellent knowledge of ASP.Net, C# and SQL Server 2008. Good knowledge and experience of Content Management Systems is also required as well as knowledge of other web technologies such as CSS, (X)HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and PHP.

Candidates should have taken a predominant role in a significant web/ASP.NET project.

The role will require some remedial work of existing code as well as developing new code.

Essential skills
• ASP.NET (.NET framework 2.0 , 4.0)
• C# programming language
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008
• Working Experience of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 , 2010
• Understanding of ASP.NET MVC

A good understanding of the following would be very useful
• Microsoft server administration including Internet Information Services (IIS)
• (X)HTML/CSS
• Web standards and accessibility
• JavaScript
• jQuery
• PHP
• MYSQL

Well, its offi cial this year is now in full swing and now May is upon us. Apparently we’re in for a month of sun. So Sun hat and Ice Cream sales will be on the up. On the subject of Ice Cream I hear that the North Somerset Show and the Royal Bath and West Show are expecting a record number of visitors and they are only around the corner, fun times ahead! With Princess Anne in Weston this month we really are becoming quite royal with all our celebrities that visit our fi ne city and surrounding areas. This month the team has turned its attention to local attractions, with some much choice on our doorstep,there’s never been a better time to get out there and experience the delights for yourself, and with the school and bank holidays looming take advantage of our in depth guide and treat your loved ones to at least one day to remember.
